  • Guest:Overall had a good week at the hotel. Some good and some middling points though. Hotel was fully booked when we arrived. Had 2 rooms and they would be opposite ends of hotel. Given offer of going to H10 Playa Esmerelda for the night and we'd be able to get 2 adjoining rooms with better view when we returned. Although a bit of a hassle, reception handled it really well at both hotels so it was effortless. And it was nice to try the other hotel. Top marks for handling the situation well. Rooms were comfortable and more than adequate. Had 2 x Superior Sea Views. No issue at all about housekeeping. They were very accommodating to our timings when rooms needed cleaning. The AI buffet is good but got a bit wearing after time. Breakfast is plentiful and varied. Lunch and dinner were a mixed bag. The starters were superb. Individually made selections which varied day by day - from a lovely sushi portion to delicious, fresh gazpacho. Mains were a bit boring after a while. While there was a good selection of pasta and vegetable cooked dishes, the protein was simply grilled meat. Although plentiful in supply it got a bit boring to just eat grilled meat. Was craving a proper dish at some point. If it wasn’t for the Canarian sauces, the meats would be been bland. My family enjoys good meals. So we'd consider Privilege next time for something with a bit of refinement. Route 66 was a bit meh - ok steakhouse and my steak was actually fired really well. But staff were belligerent. At R66 there is one a la carte wine which is on AI menu just at this restaurant. When I ordered drinks I got the name wrong and head waitress quite sternly told I couldn’t have the wine I mentioned. Fair enough. I double checked the app and asked another waiter for the right wine. Which he duly served. But then him and head waitress could be heard arguing by the kitchen - I assume he was in trouble for 'giving away' the good wine. During our meal there was at least one set of guests who left irritated before their mains arrived. So like I say R66 is just a bit meh. Get this out the way. Not worth saving it as a good meal night out. Pool scene was ok. The pools were well maintained but there is zero enforcement of sunbeds. This was the main irritating point of the week. You'd go down and all the beds would be gone. From where we wound up sitting you could see no one returning for hours on end. Pool staff didn’t do anything to help. When reported they simply shrugged. Beds to come free through the day but having to stay constantly vigilant is a bit wearing. As the holiday was a pool / beach based relaxation week the issue was quite prevalent as we were by the pool every day so got quite annoying by the end of the stay. We grew to love Herbania. It feels a bit like a hotel lobby when you first drink there. Staff don’t speak much English (not a complaint, just an observation) so took a couple of days of google translate to order mixers, doubl
  • Guest:We had a lovely holiday at the H10 Tindaya hotel, staff were friendly, the facilities were clean and the activities were great. There were lots of tasty food choices and a lovely outdoor pool area. We stayed for the New Years Eve Gala Dinner, which was really great - the hotel staff worked really hard to deliver elegant food, fun entertainment and a wonderful firework show at the end of the night. It was a really special evening!
  • Guest:We recently returned from a week long holiday at this hotel over New Year and early January. We booked the al-inclusive privilege upgrade, we really liked the privilege pool - there was always a great choice of sunbeds available all day & Prosecco on ice at the small bar area. The privilege lounge was a nice area with self serve branded drinks which was a great addition to the hotel (although I wish it was open later than 8pm!) The privilege restaurant was fantastic, very relaxed with great food & drinks. The service in the privilege restaurant was really great, special mention must go to Sara, who served us most evenings. She really is a credit to the hotel, so friendly and had such a warm rapport. She made our stay at the hotel. We were grateful to be given room 520, the views were amazing, and we benefited from two balconies. When we arrived, I couldn’t get the aircon to work in the room and contacted reception, we had the maintenance team arrive within 10 minutes to help us out a - thank you so much for the prompt response. We visited the beaches along from the hotel - all stunning and definitely worth making a point to use them. Thanks for a lovely stay.
  • Guest:hotel was ok, expected more for a 4*, have stayed in jet2 better 3* didnt start well being delayed, welcome drinks empty! queue for checking in, eventually a butler brought drinks,but left them! didnt serve & glasses were empty, took an hr to check in! went to room, nice! downloaded app to do everything..annoying! had to book evening meal, fully booked!!!!! so rang reception, tv in room was only news channel! no kettle,,asked 3xover 2 days,eventually got one but no cups,tea or coffee!!!! cleaner took them every day! no welcome bottle of water asked for extra loo roll at reception, 3 days later still none! only pool bar open daytime, which was hard for elderly to get too, bizarre! then main bar at night never stayed in an AI where you have to book evening meal Route 66 was awful! food was disgusting reception staff had no communication skills posters for xmas gala meal were confusing and to top it off check out was 12pm. we were expected to pay £10 each for rest of day!
