  • Guest：During my stay, I noticed three areas where small adjustments could significantly enhance comfort and service: 1. Kitchen Essentials Providing a basic dishcloth and dish detergent in the kitchen setup would greatly improve functionality. Currently, guests are left using alternatives like toilet paper to clean or dry their hands, which feels impractical and unhygienic. Including these essentials would align with standard expectations for self-catering accommodations. 2. Reception Etiquette A warm acknowledgment from staff when guests enter the reception area particularly during night shifts would foster a more welcoming atmosphere. A simple smile or verbal assurance (e.g., “I’ll be with you shortly”) can reassure guests they’ve been noticed and will be assisted promptly. This small gesture would elevate the check-in experience. 3.Towels are not always cleans, housekeeping should do a better job when it comes to washing towels.
  • Guest：We loved our stay, the place is spacious and reasonably priced all while offering equipment ANYONE would need on a stay. Even when traveling from far. It was very convenient and incredible, we actually decided that every hotel booking we make in JHB will be made at THE MINT... it's out new spot. Keep it up!
  • Guest：The staff at reception is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and felt like home away from home. I would recommend that they add a sachet of milk with the complementary coffee. Otherwise my stay was pleasant.
