  • Guest：I was there in summer 2024, The best resort to stay, Cleaned and aromatic rooms, Food was so good, feels like home. Staff was so supportive and caring. Nice and clear swimming pool. Library in the resort is a nice place to sit and chill. When I was there I met Owners of the resort, they are amazing people. They have a good taste of making place. You will get the best. I loved the most the detailing in the rooms and every corner of the resort, there are good painting around, the Windows are nice, Light lamps were good. Absolutely fantastic resort. Highly recommended.
  • Guest：My new passion for wildlife photography pushed me to look for unique places in Gujarat to observe local wildlife. It had been 18 years since I returned to India and I was bringing my teen kids for the first time. I was very hesitant about food safety and picked the black buck lodge for a stop due to its amazing reviews. This property did not disappoint in any way. It is located right next to the National Park and their safari naturalist Siddharth has a wealth of information. Never in my wildest dreams did I anticipate seeing so much wildlife including wolves, eagles, and sarus cranes! The property itself is a beautiful oasis set on an 100 acre property with nicely appointed villas. Also the food was very tasty and had many options. The property blends into the surrounding grasslands seamlessly. Every staff member was extremely polite and provided superb service. I hope to visit again and stay for even a longer time.
  • Guest：The Black Buck Lodge, Velavadar, Gujarat, will re-define your safari holiday. Every small detail has been thought of to make your stay memorable. One could safely say...Mickey Desai has taken perfection to new heights. The resort has independent villas amidst grassland. Wild life move nearby as you sit in your verandah (provided you keep silent). Black Buck, Blue Bulls, Indian Wolves, Jackals, Wild Boar, Hyenas and a host of migratory birds, as well as the resident ones, are all there in the adjacent Black Buck National Park, and if you are lucky, you'll see them in hordes in your Villa back yard early morning or nearing sunset. We were lucky. The Lodge has a well maintained support system with organic vegetables grown with loving care. Every thing on your table is local. The layout of the Villas merge with the natural surroundings and real luxury encompasses you, only as you step inside. No plastics. They are very strict about it. And Why not! Every small essential requirement you can think of is provided. The front office headed by Rakesh, ensures a smooth check in & out and organizing your daily programs efficiently. The Naturalists Sidharth and Girish are a fountain of knowledge on Flora & Fauna. They have amazing insights into local lore. The Restaurant caters for all Indian and international cuisines. Being foodies, we were spoilt for choice. Chef Mandeep was outstanding in preparing the daily menu. Anything special, he was ready to oblige with exceptional results, bringing out the correct texture and flavors. He was ably assisted by Ravindra Singh, Vishamber and Pravin. In my travels, rarely have I seen such dedicated Housekeeping Staff. Well, You'll find it here. Rathore and his team do an exceptional job of ensuring your comfort round the clock. An experience I would love to repeat in the future. As a suggestion..... You want to chill-out with nature in luxury.....this is the place.
