  • Guest：Very disappointing. The gardens and views are stunning and the staff is very welcoming. However, there were major issues that prevented a pleasant stay: - Constant loud beeping all day and night from an emergency door alarm they could not turn off. Absolutely ear piercing. - No shower. Tub only. Hard to bathe properly. - Found big circles of mold on the bread at breakfast. In general the breakfast was cold and unappetizing. They have lots of chickens and I was very hopeful there'd be a delicious hot spread with scrambled eggs, cappuccino, etc. There was not. This could be such a lovely place with a bit more effort. But I cannot recommend it, especially at the price.
  • Guest：Beautiful hotel with spectacular views. You’re stepping into history, it’s more than a hotel it’s part of Florence’s fabulous architecture, with frescos and statues dating back generations. Our room was spacious, bed comfortable, and its packed full of quirky features including a bathroom that resembled a confession booth from the outside. This isn’t your typical hotel and so expect a few imperfections that reflect the age. The pool was perfect for cooling down in the summer city heat with a bar that had good food options for a quick pizza or salad. We wanted a stay which combined relaxation and quiet but was close enough to visit the many sights of this beautiful City. This delivered.
  • Guest：Simply divine and possibly our best holiday stay ever. A majestic and historic villa overlooking Florence has with tender love and care by the owners/operators been turned into the optimal retreat for exploring the city or just lounging in the lush gardens by the pool. They make you feel like house guests in a Fitzgerald novel. Don’t miss the opportunity to take a cookery class one evening with Ana, the proprietress.
  • Guest：Whenever I return to Bellosguardo I am always startled at the sheer majestic beauty of this place.. It has a grandeur and a romance which is so difficult to find , I sketched everyday for hours and only wished I had my easel and oils with me. The staff are wonderful, the gardens glorious, the swimming pool a dream and the donkeys, cats and crazy looking chickens all add to the fun. I had my very first cooking lesson which later became dinner and much to my surprise it was a masterpiece of Gustatory delight. Thankyou Anna.
