  • Guest：This hotel is a dream! The view from this location is breathtaking, and the architecture and aesthetic of everything made it all such a a gorgeous experience. The owners were super friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed all the amazing conversations and stories we shared. They really created something special in Santa Teresa, that is a cut above all the other places we saw around town. I can’t recommend this place enough, and hope to go back again one day. Joanna’s Mezcalita and Passion Fruit Whiskey Sour’s are the best! We enjoyed several at the infinity pool while we took in the views and magical sunsets. Don’t hesitate to book here, you won’t be disappointed!
  • Guest：The hotel is beautifully located close to the main road but still quiet up on a hill. All rooms have fantastic view of the ocean and you’ll hear the waves at night. We especially liked the window front that opens up completely and the shower that opens as well and gives you an outside feeling. The staff and the Swedish owners are super friendly and helped us with all our questions. Homemade breakfast by the pool with views of the ocean - there’s nothing more to wish for. With just five rooms Mint is the perfect place to calm down and enjoy some privacy. We can recommend Mint 100% and would love to come back!
  • Guest：This was one of the best experiences I have ever had traveling. The hotel is absolutely stunning and serves as a perfect quiet retreat tucked back from the busy main road of Santa Teresa perched up on a hill with a breath taking ocean view that never got old. We loved how intimate the hotel was with only 5 rooms. It was the perfect combination of private but also allowed for us to meet some lovely fellow travelers hanging out in the beautiful and inviting communal space which included the infinity pool, lounge chairs, dining table, bar, couch and bocce court. Our room was beautifully minimally designed with a great mix of natural materials that emphasized the view of the ocean. The AC unit worked well and we particularly enjoyed the shower where you can slide open a door to create an indoor/outdoor experience. The private rooftop above our room had two chairs and a hammock. The breakfast that was included was beautifully put together and included fresh fruit, homemade granola, banana bread and zucchini rolls with soft boiled eggs, veggies, yogurt, and condiments to create a spread that anyone would enjoy. To top it all off the owners are incredible people who enhanced our experience. They were so friendly and helpful in booking our excursions, providing recommendations, and even helped us order food to be delivered when we arrived in the middle of a cyclone after a 5 hour car ride. We highly recommend booking the surf lessons, ATV, and horseback riding through them. We enjoyed ending each night chatting at the bar, drinking homemade ginger ale and listening to the perfectly curated playlist that is always on in the background. The best place to stay in Santa Teresa.
  • Guest：We loved every minute of our stay at the mint - thanks to the lovely hosts Johanna and Jonas and the tasteful and stylish set-out of their boutique hotel. The rooms are spacious with an amazing view of the sea and the bathrooms offer a great shower. Breakfast is simply delicious - neither their granola nor the banana bread could be topped. The place has a pleasant small pool and offers a very relaxed atmosphere and fantastic sun sets. It sits in the hills a bit above Santa Teresa but still in walking distant to several restaurants (if you are up to a 10 minutes steep walk uphill after dinner).
