  • Guest：My best friend and I stayed here for one night from 02 to 3rd July 2024. The Knowe is located in the lovely town of Callander. We were greeted by Deon on arrival, who couldn't have been more friendly or helpful! Nothing was too much trouble. He helped us carry the rest of our bags in from the car and assisted us in carrying them upstairs to our room. We stayed in the Gardens room. We agreed that this room had the best view out of all the hotels we had stayed in. It was beautiful. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious and very comfortable. We had a complimentary chocolate each. The TV had a DVD player and they very kindly provided a wide selection of DVDs in the cabinet on the landing. We couldn't locate the DVD slot on the TV and Deon was only too happy to come and help us. I had the best night's sleep here out of the 3 hotels we stayed in. Deon told us about a woodland walk behind the hotel where we might see red squirrels as we'd never seen one. Sadly, we didn't see any but the walk was really wonderful. Breakfast is served between 8 and 9 am. There's a card in your room for you to pre-order your breakfasts, which makes it far easier in the morning. Laura served us and she was just as kind and friendly. They both saw us off in the morning. This was my favourite hotel of the trip and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Superb!
  • Guest：A lovely, comfortable place in an interesting village. A highlight of this trip. Spacious room, comfortable beds, great view. Very nice breakfast. Warm, knowledgeable, welcoming hosts. Beautiful location and easily accessible to town
  • Guest：We really enjoyed our stay here. The couple that own the b&b Dion and Laura are fabulous! We arrived early but our room was ready for us, Deon showed us round and took us to our room, which was lovely. It had a separate lounge, bedroom and a lovely ensuite. Dion told us about the area and suggested things for us to see which was nice and even offered to make us a reservation for dinner in the town. Room was comfortable and warm and breakfast in the morning was delicious. Really lovely place and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we are in the area.
  • Guest：Although we only stay one evening during our visit to Scotland, this accommodation was terrific. The house is perfectly located on a quiet street in Calendar with an adjacent trail that leads the two blocks into the center of town in one direction and to Bracklinn Falls in the other. My husband and I hiked to the falls shortly after arriving and then head straight into town for dinner. Deon and Laura were lovely hosts.
