Guest：We stayed here the night before and the night after our walk which proved to be a great idea. Able Tasman Haven is ~ 600 metres from the highly recommended Park Cafe and the entrance to the Great Walk. The accommodation was everything we needed, comfortable set up, Fridge, Microwave, Hot plate, Filtered water, Good shower and outdoor chairs and table. We were also able to leave our car here for the duration of our walk. Rose was a friendly host.
Guest：Very nice chalet, clean, well equipment and comfortable. Bill and Rose are wonderful hosts. Easy walking distance to the park, the park Cafe (which is great!). They have laundry on site. If we make it back some day, well be staying there again. Jim B
Guest：We had an excellent stay at Abel Tasman Haven in March 2025. The setting is very convenient for the providers of the activities available in Marahau, as well as the excellent and well-stocked General Store. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with a fridge and kitchen facilities. A washing machine can be used for a nominal charge. There is ample parking space.
Guest：So close to the start of the Abel Tasman National Park, the beach and a few eateries. Hidden behind with the beautiful surroundings of the valley. The self contained chalet is well maintained with spotlessly clean bathroom, kitchen and bedding. The only downside could be the little fan and monitor-sized TV in the living room, if you are keen to watch TV on a hot night. But that didn’t bother us too much as it was cool at night and we would rather have some time out to the nature rather sitting inside. The enthusiastic owner and the friendly dog would definitely make you feel at home.
