Guest：Wanted a good meal but the place was over run by children that were out of control and the parents were not bothered and shouting themselves. Not the best experience we have had in this hotel as we have stayed here many times before.
Guest：I have been here many times., along with my wife until her recent death.. Perfect location, Friendly and professional staff and today I received exceptional help from the receptionist. I have walling difficulties and needed a taxi. He tried many times for over an hour to get one without success so he contacted an off-duty worker and persuaded her to drive me the short distance I required. Wonderful. As usual, the room was very clean and comfortable. The food is excellent - a bit pricey for dinner, but very good value for breakfast.
Guest：A totally brilliant stay, the hotel was decorated beautifully for Christmas. Really made our Christmas break special and festive . The staff are a credit to the establishment.
Guest：Unfortunately, after our stay we will not be back, we have stayed here often but this is the first time we have been so disappointed. Room was very cramped, decor very tired looking - peeling paint on window sill, doors, mould in bathroom sink, plug did not work in the bath my husband had to have a bath in a room along the corridor! food extremely expensive ￡80 for a salad, fish pie and drinks, (￡12 for glass of prosecco) staff extremely polite and professional, Not very good value for what we paid, entire stay was spoilt because of the room which is a shame as the hotel has very many happy memories for us.
