Guest：Set uo some steep roads on the outskirts of a rather unusual eastern German town, this hotel is a good choice. The decor is rather dated but totally functional. The hotel is spotlessly clean, a tribute to this family run hotel of about 20 rooms. The bedrooms have all you require, the beds are surprisingly comfortable and the bathrooms are sufficiently equipped. Many rooms have a balcony. As mentioned before, the decoration might not be to everyone's taste, it does appear rather 70s/80's but this is not a criticism. Parking spaces for just two cars but there's plenty of on-street parking in the surrounding roads. Breakfast is a good, typical german breakfast - nothing outstanding but more than adequate. Pleasant stay if you're in this part of the southern Harz.
