Guest：We stayed at the Oakcliffe B&B for 2 nights. It is a well situated hotel, a short walk from the University and city center and near pubs such as the Imperial and the Farmers Union. Our double bedroom with ensuite (which was small) was cosy, clean and well presented. Be aware that there is a narrow staircase to rooms upstairs, for those who may find this a difficulty with luggage.There is free parking at the rear of the premises and the driveway is at the side of the building. Note that the car park directly at the rear of the building is small and could be a problem if you have a large car. The accommodation is secure and as well as a key to our room we had a key to allow ourselves in after a certain time when the house was locked. The service at the Oakcliffe was great and Lorraine was welcoming, friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided was well presented and plentiful. An enjoyable stay!
Guest：In Exeter for a City Centre function and booked ahead (just as well as this place is popular). Easy to find with the 'satnag' and off road car parking at the rear (tricky to get into with a 4x4 but OK for a family saloon). Lovely welcome at mid-day to drop off my bags and walk into the City centre and Castle area. Good sized room, comfortable bed and good en-suite facilities. Despite this being well inside the city my room was very quiet and I heard the owls in the small hours. A great breakfast with good choice from fruit juice and cereal to the 'Full English' (which I couldn't resist!). I heartily recommend this B&B and would return next time I am 'down West'.
Guest：I stayed here for one night two months ago before travelling further south. It’s a lovely little guest house just outside of the city centre and is only about 10/15 minutes walk to get to all the centrals places. Staff were very friendly and helpful with everything, even recommended places to visit. Room is quite petite but big enough for one person and the bathroom on the middle floor is cleaned regularly and looked after very well. Overall, I would definitely use it again and would recommend it to anyone.
