Guest：Chandani is the best and her mother in law is a true chef! The cooking class is cheap and helpful, this place feels like home! I would suggest to anybody to come for a true answer warm jungle experience! We cooked dhal, rice, califlower, sambal and delicious curry chicken
Guest：Stayed 2 nights in this small family run homestead. If ur looking for hotel standards go elsewhere. But if u want an authentic place to stay. With lovely people and delicious foods. Then you will be very happy here. It’s a basic but very comfortable treehouse well maintained inside. Just try it for a night or 2. Book the evening meal it’s delicious. And if fancy takes you can try the cooking class. We go out 10 out of 10 and we don’t do that often. Maybe a down side is it’s a little out of town 2km. But worth the effort ??
Guest：Stayed for 2 nights while visiting nearby sights and really enjoyed the experience. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed, and although there were a few ants in the bathroom (expected for a treehouse), they were minimal and not a problem. The insect situation overall was well managed, and the bed netting felt very sturdy and secure.Water pressure in the shower wasn’t the strongest but was sufficient. It would have been helpful to have flip flops provided, as the bathroom floor gets a bit wet with the shower right next to the toilet. The food was excellent, with authentic Sri Lankan dishes; I had dinner there one night and breakfast on both days, and everything was delicious. The fresh fruit juices are a must-try—the papaya juice was especially amazing.The only real downside was the Wi?Fi, which basically did not work during my stay, though it did encourage a nice digital detox. Another important note is that the property is cash only; booking through Agoda gave the impression that card payment would be possible, so be sure to bring enough cash for your stay and any meals, as there is no nearby ATM. The main area with several restaurants is about a 15-minute walk away, and the staff kindly offered a tuk tuk ride into town for dinner one evening. Overall, a genuinely wonderful stay and a great choice for a peaceful wilderness experience.
