Guest：I stayed for three nights at Sumitel Shangrila, Gangtok. Initially, I faced a few service-related issues; however, the team responded promptly and significantly improved the service quality. Upon reporting the concerns, the Resident Manager, Mr. Sidhant, personally met me multiple times to ensure my comfort and complete satisfaction throughout the stay. I especially enjoyed the delicious pastries and the ready-made Darjeeling tea, which were served complimentary as a thoughtful gesture. Overall, the experience turned out to be very pleasant, and I look forward to staying with Sumitel again during my future visits to Darjeeling and Sikkim.

The dishes were mildly spiced, which made them comfortable to eat and suitable for everyone. The food felt authentic and was prepared using fresh ingredients. The breakfast options were good, and everything was served fresh and on time. Dinner was equally enjoyable in a calm and pleasant ambience. The restaurant was clean and well maintained.
