Guest：The traditional ambience of the hotel is great. We will feel like living in the past. The property is great for people loving silence and nature. We could see rabbits hopping around at night from the balcony. Considering amenities and breakfast, there is scope for much improvement. Overall it's a great experience to stay, especially at night.
Guest：We stayed at Lalitha Mahal Palace hoping for a regal escape, but sadly, it felt more like walking through the faded pages of a once-grand story. The heritage charm is undeniable, but the place is in desperate need of revival. The food was underwhelming, amenities were bare minimum, and the overall experience just didn’t live up to the promise. Yes, you get to sleep in a piece of history — but the question is, at what cost? Wouldn’t go back.
Guest：What a beautiful building. Understand that this used to be a palace that has now been converted to a hotel. Absolutely mesmerizing and great for a day visit where you can take great photos. The breakfast and food quality were also decent -- so far, so good. However, the room was very unclean - the bed linens, curtains and bathroom looked dirty and stained. Insects were also profuse. The lighting was so low that it made the room look gloomy - think they should work on this. The bed mattress was so high that shorter people actually need a chair to slowly get onto the bed. In the bathroom, there was a "vintage" bathtub that was only for show and not to be used - which is OK, but wish they had cleaned it or covered it under some netting.
Guest：We booked an overnight stay at this hotel though was quite skeptical after reading a few reviews in various websites. However it was a totally amazing experience. First of all the weather was great with a mild drizzle now and then, to top it was the royal feeling of staying at a heritage building with rich interiors and antique furniture. We stayed at heritage classic suite which was a huge room with the view of Chamundi hills and the Mysore palace. The room was well equipped with all the necessities, neat and clean however the bathroom with marble tiling and ageold fixtures was a blackdot for this otherwise beautiful place. Food was fairly good and the staff were polite. I would surely recommend this hotel for those who want a royal experience...
