Guest：Great to see how well the camp has recovered from recent floods. Great location, really good facilities, 'tented' accommodation good, food choices really good. Having about 50 hippos in the water outside our room was an experience in itself. They were noisy at night but that's nothing to complain about, actually adds to the whole experience.
Guest：Great camp, amazing staff and a special mention to Felix who was so welcoming and polite at all meal times and gave us a wonderful overview of his village life. Brilliant waiter! The food was fantastic and great the lodge is inside the park which made for good game drives. (Would be good to get water included is our only recommendation)
Guest：We were on a G Adventures safari and this was one of the places we stayed. We were at this camp for 2 nights. The rooms are spotlessly clean, the staff are kind and helpful and the food was great. At night there were hippos in the river and monkeys howling...we could see and hear a fair bit of wildlife--which we loved. In the morning we watched hot air balloons launch and sail across the sky--my husband went in one, I did not. I really appreciated everything about this "camp".
Guest：Just back from a 3 night stay at Fig Tree Camp - we had a really great time there. Accommodation was in the riverside tents, a brilliant outlook, with the noises of birds, hippos, baboons, etc to lull you to sleep, in a very comfortable bed. The place is kept scrupulously clean, and the staff are efficient and friendly at all times. Our game drives were excellent, and we saw all the big 5, apart from rhino, during our time in the area, plus many other animals and birds. Our guide was Jonathan, and our spotter was Julius - a great team who made our drives both interesting and entertaining, and we were given every opportunity to get some stunning photos throughout the drives. Food was tasty and varied, and there was always plenty of choice. The only negative would be the WiFi access - there is only a small area where you can access it, and it’s out in the open, so trying to get online during a thunderstorm and a downpour was especially challenging! Some sort of shelter would have been nice that day….. Having been on safari quite a few times, we would definitely recommend this camp - it compares well with other places we’ve stayed during our travels in Africa.
