  • Guest：OK the things i did not like : No parking at all (even to drop luggage), no lift, the reception is always closed and is very tiny (the receptionists are working at the bar or the cafe) , the fact that you have to leave the hotel to go for breakfast The things that I loved The room is very big, the location is perfect, the glazing is good and the quietness is perfect (as you are in central lindau) the terrace was amazing, the minibar is perfect and not expensive, the bed was perfect, the breakfast on the lake was wow and of top quality and the service was oustanding
  • Guest：First of all, hotel responds quickly to all inquiries— book directly with them. Great location on lake and in the center of all sites. Immaculate room, comfortable bed, good breakfast. Our room, #21, had a wonderful lake view balcony . Great start for our annual European vacation!
  • Guest：My husband had a weeklong business meeting in Lindau and I tagged along. The Hotel Schreier was such a comfortable place. Our room was an adequate size, nice bathroom, little fridge, a safe, and AC we could control ourselves. We had the "cappucino" room, which opened onto a little terrace overlooking the Lindau Harbor. The view was beautiful at all times of day. The harborfront is lined with cafes and restaurants (the ground floor of the Schreier has a popular ice-cream spot) but the nights were very peaceful. The Schreier's cafe (and some of the others) are not open late-night, so everything quiets down. Breakfast for hotel guests is in the cafe (I think it was around €8/pp). There was a good cold buffet but if we asked we could also get eggs, bacon, etc. The housekeeping every day in our room was immaculate. We arrived in Lindau by train and found everything very walkable, and the town peaceful and pleasant. If you have time, take the ferry across the lake to Bregenz and then the Pfanderbahn-- the cable car up the mountain. Very simple to do, and the views were stunning.
  • Guest：A super hotel in a super location, maybe expensive, but well worth it, we now lovev Lindau! I think we may have had the best room in the hotel with a small balcony overlooking the harbour. Pleasure boats come in and out all day and with all the tourists below it's a great place to see the world go by. Our room was thankfully air conditioned as it had full sun all day. Coming in late in the afternoon to a cool room was a real treat. Breakfast was downstairs in a small but comfortable room overlooking a lower garden. The lady here was really nice and looked after us well. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough, owner, staff, location all great. Car parking is a short distance away secure in an underground car park but book in first for directions,
