Guest：Ellen House is conveniently located, close to Matlock station, lots of good restaurants, and main roads into the Peak District - yet calm, peaceful and quiet, tucked away from noise. Our room was spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed. The owners are excellent hosts, providing a warm welcome, and friendly, helpful hospitality. A great selection of delicious breakfast, prepared to perfection and beautifully presented, kept us well-fuelled for several hours of walking. Highly recommended.

Guest：Lovely, attentive hosts, extensive, quality breakfast choices, very clean facilities, comfortable room and bed, lovely garden, quiet location , good location for buses and trains 5 min walk away. Shopping close by. The best part of our stay was the warm and friendly helpful hosts John and Anne who could not do enough for us and made our stay in Matlock so enjoyable. Thank you to them.
