Guest：Our first time to Camping Joan and we will be back. We stayed for 8 days in our motorhome. The reception team couldn’t have been any more helpful - especially the blond lady (sorry I didn’t get the name). We had a lovely pitch and the site is so perfect - depending of course what you want. It’s ideally situated for beach lovers and for easy cycling. We only tried the one restaurant at the front gates to the cycle path. Sadly it wasn’t a good experience as there was a private birthday celebration going on and our ‘outside reservation’ was now inside and any extra people seemed to have the kitchen flummoxed. They couldn’t supply a pasta dish - or a garlic cream sauce for the salmon ? Although they could produce a basic dry salmon? Very unusual - the worst part being the wait in-between to be told one wasn’t available and then the other. By the time we’d got served our main course we were well through our very nice bottle of red wine. Our starter of mussels left a bit to be desired too - the mussels being minuscule and the broth quite salty. Sadly there was some miscommunication between languages and the waiter wasn’t the most pleasant when I tried to ask him whether he thought the service was acceptable. We paid the bill and left - leaving a very generous (under the circumstances) 10% service charge! We will give it another go next time we go as it was probably a bad choice of night (lunchtimes seem very busy - there were hardly any other diners in that night). but maybe they shouldn’t be taking reservations if the kitchen isn’t up to managing it ? We were offered free coffee but by this time over 2hrs had gone by and the red wine finished!
Guest：Brilliant place, location excellent. Showers first class. Swimming pool is a great area and very close to sea. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful nothing is took much trouble for them. The shop stocks a variety of products and very good prices. The onsite restaurants serve delicious meals.
