  • Guest：Sand delight camp Is one of most camps in desert has heritage designs of tents and mijlas as vallege bedouin designs. Perfect stay in these tents which feature modern but it’s looking like heritage and awesome.
  • Guest：The desert is AMAZING, no need to comment on the surrounding landscape. Sand Delight Camp was one of the sweetest surprise of our whole trip in Oman. Jamal and Khalid were very kind and helpful: they organized a transfer for us (because we could not reach the camp with our 2wd car) and Khalid took us on a funny 'safari' tour to see the sunset, driving on the dunes like on a Rollercoaster and telling us stories about his Beduin family. They gave us free sledges and we had a lot of fun on the dunes. The tent was large and perfectly clean, the bed was amazingly comfortable: much much better than most of the other hotels we stayed at. We enjoyed a rich dinner with typical food: rice, soups, hummus, vegs, salads, different kinds of grilled meat, freshly made bread, fruit, dates, sweets. Breakfast was very good too (when I travel I like trying typical food, but I must admit I was very happy to have some Omani bread with Nutella :)). Finally, Jamal's assistance went far beyond the desert, and he was able to find a driver and organize a day trip for us to Jebel Akhdar on Christmas day: again, we could not go there with our 2wd car, and we would have missed something special without Jamal's help! I would definitely recommend to stay at Sand Delight Camp.
  • Guest：We stay in 2 of the luxury tents (4 of us) and had an truly great time! We had a small 4x4 so drove to the camp. Tent was large, had a ceiling fan and also air con. Private toilet and shower. Staff were very friendly. Food we standard fare- but still ok. We did camel rides, dune bashing and night safari which was amazing!!! We would highly recommend this camp.
  • Guest：We had a very nice time here in the desert camp where we stayed for 2 nights. The cabins / tents are incredibly comfortable, with electricity and a mini fridge and clever bathroom / shower set-ups. The food was average, not particularly 'Omani', but everyone was hospitable and accomodating. We enjoyed a relaxing time just lounging on the patio area and taking some walks in the sands. The nights are spectacular - so clean and wide open and the stars are incredible. It's a really lovely place for a few days. It's only 5-10 minutes by car from the town, but you do really feel you are out in the dunes (and do need 4wd!)
