Guest：Our family stayed for 3 nights at Highgrove Estate over the New Year. The property is a wonderful colonial bungalow set amongst tea gardens, We loved the setting and the property with its stunning views, immaculate gardens, fountain and a vegetable patch at the back and its wonderfully furnished interiors. Our stay here was the highlight of out 10 day SL trip mainly due to the professional service and pampering by the villa team led by Mr. Johnson along with Seenu and Chef Augustine. The teams attention to detail and personalized service was outstanding and superior to the service at most 5 star hotels we have stayed in around the world. The thoughtful service included unprompted organizing of fireworks for our children to celebrate the New Year and the hot water bottles to warm the beds on the chilly nights, The meals prepared by Augustine (both Sri Lankan and western) were delicious and plentiful. Overall, we loved the property and our stay at Highgrove Estates, but what sets this property apart is Mr. Johnson and his onsite team who made our stay very special. We hope to be back again and highly recommend Highgrove Estates!

Slightly away from city but easy travel. Most of our requirements were accommodated. We highly recommend this place.
Guest：Highgrove is a splendid, once-in-a-lifetime experience: the best in our 3 weeks long journey across Sri Lanka, where we stayed mostly install, upmarket heritage hotels. The bungalow, the location among the tea estates, the service, the team led by Johnson, the food, the atmosphere, the attention to details were superb. One can one be grateful that the owners- a business family from Colombo - decided to refurbish, re-launch and protect this historical cottage near Newark Eliya. Its view over the valley is unforgettable, the decor is perfect, the feeling is not of a hotel but of a private, luxury mansion where then owners have kindly accepted to have guess. We can only recommend this incredible, serene, peaceful place to anyone who is looking for something different, better, higher. Thank you again manager Johnson, you are doing a fantastic job and being your guests has been a privilege.
