Guest：We came here as a surprise for my 40th Birthday. The place is lovely, the staff were really nice and the food was amazing! The staff made us all feel welcome and comfortable I had the Katsu Chicken burger, Delish! Everyone's food was lovely -You should see the size of the Whale... I mean fish! The portion sizes were really good and the quality and presentation of the food was perfect The hotel has a large car park and what stunning views of the surrounding area Big thankyou to Roma and the team We will definitely be back again
Guest：It was a lovely, sunny evening so the five of us sat in the garden and had a couple of drinks before we ordered our food. The haddock and chips and the Miso glazed salmon salad were both very tasty and the homemade bread we ordered to accompany the olives was to die for! The best we have ever had. What a fantastic evening spent with friends in lovely surroundings, eating the best food and drinking splendid white wine and the best local Chatsworth Gold beer. We shall return!
Guest：We had lunch for 8 in the Italian Room with our family to celebrate a birthday. The room was beautiful, spacious but cosy with an open fire shared through a wall with the adjoining room. The food was fairly expensive but excellent with plenty of choice. The service was excellent and fast. One of the staff went the extra mile to enable one of us to have her favourite dessert even though it was off the menu. The toilets are modern and immaculate. There's plenty of parking with an super view across the Amber Valley. Booking was easy and reliable.
Guest：Amazing place with unbelievable service and helpful staff. I was totally blown over by the high standards everywhere. This was from meeting and greeting, to hygiene, to quality of the room, friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble, on top of that the food was superb and it was easy to park. We even had a wedding function going on on the Saturday night and Richard the manager was so attentive that the small number of private guests staying did not loose out with regards to service in the separate restaurant. Overall would not hesitate to stay again and the location of the hotel was excellent with regard to going to any nearby events or attractions.
