  • Guest：Great location, with a gorgeous room (Suite with Terrace and Sea View). And then there is patio with seating right off the room: the sunset views, wow! Our room was huge and immaculate! Nice linens and towels, a small and a larger pillow for each of us, a top sheet in addition to the comforter. The bed was SO comfortable! Our room also had side tables and individual reading lamps, a small fridge, wine opener n glasses, and a clothes drying rack. The bathroom is huge and so beautifully done, I would love to have this bathroom at my home! Outstanding customer service from Giorgio! He gave us great recommendations every day! Extensive breakfast included.

Il giovane gestore Mattia è un ragazzo appassionato ed entusiasta che si adopera in tutti i modi per rendere piacevole il soggiorno. Una bellissima esperienza che consiglio assolutamente.
  • Guest：Palazzo Gallo Resort, what a find! This small hotel is nestled in the narrow ( almost traffic free) streets, close to the one way road on the outskirts of the old town. We contacted the hotel before our arrival as we were travelling by car and due to restrictions, couldn’t park near the hotel. Mattia, the owner and manager was most helpful. He arranged to meet us at a location in the main town where it was safe to park our car for free. He then transferred us to the hotel in his own vehicle, checked us in and carried our bags up to our room. He gave us lots of information about local sights and restaurants. Getting back to the car was only a 10min walk. The room we had was the one shown in the first few photos on this website. It’s everything shown and more. Beautifully decorated and well equipped, it has a private terrace to sunbathe or sit and watch the sun go down. The shower is fantastic! Breakfast was great, lots of choices including fresh fruit and hot food. Gallipoli is beautiful and a must see if your in this part of Puglia, the hotel is the perfect place to stay. If you fancy trying a local restaurant, have a look at Gustavo. It featured in Remarkable Places to Eat, a tv series. Marvellous food at very inexpensive price. Mattia will arrange a taxi. There is also a direct train service to Lecche, one of the largest cities in the region. It only cost us ￡8 each for a return and it’s a very relaxing way to travel! Mattia, was the star of the show though, his enthusiasm and desire to make sure his guests are happy and contented, shone through.
  • Guest：Fantastic stay in Gallipoli old town. Our room was amazing, the décor stunning. The two terraces were huge with wonderful views. Mattia the manager went above and beyond to help us have such a incredible stay - arranging parking, picking us up and giving us many recommendations. Highly recommend.
