Guest：The room was super noisy, lots of doors banging in the morning, and I guess everybody in the rooms above me was wearing stiletto heals on the wooden floors in the early morning hours! Impossible to have a late relaxing morning. The staff was super friendly, with one exception: With my loyalty card I am being offered a free drink. I ordered a beer and the bar tender was about to pour it, when his supervisor barged in and she said "if he doesn't pay he only gets a small one !" How pathetic is that ? Breakfast was ok and the bed, as always in Ibis, super comfortable.
Guest：We often stop with our dog at Ibis Hotels. Note that there is nowhere around for the dogs to relieve themselves (not even a small piece of land or grass). The surroundings are very dark and scary at night (no feeling of security). The quality of the hostel is far below the Ibis of the same category (very claustrophobic rooms and old toilets). The night before we did it at the Ibis in Barcelona Cornella and it has no comparison.
Guest：Six of us stayed here before and after a penichette cruise. It’s standard Ibis, at least adequate, although the ground floor corridor is dark, the rooms are clean and comfortable. There is a tram stop a couple of minute’s walk away, from where all parts of the city can be reached. Breakfast was very good, apart from the hot water not being up to making British tea. The bar is nice, but we found the food rather disappointing the first night, my dish was far too salty, a poor choice perhaps. We ate out thereafter. The restaurant is shut on Mondays, and apart from L’Erreur there are only takeaways within walking distance. The public area at the front has desks with electricity points, which we found very useful while waiting before and after check-in. What really gives the place an advantage is how friendly and helpful the staff are, speaking good English: they printed out our boarding passes, summoned a taxi, suggested we have our rooms after checkout time until it arrived, etcetera.
