Guest：I’ll start with the negatives: there is no free drinking water anywhere on site, even at breakfast. We spent a small fortune on buying water! Safe was €10 a week, towels a €10 deposit plus €1 euro a day to hire, beach sun loungers were €9 a day. Some personal belongings went missing. The restaurant staff were really grumpy however the pool bar staff were much more welcoming. Housekeeping was a bit hit and miss for example loo rolls weren’t replaced and glasses & cups weren’t always cleaned. A kettle and fridge were provided (no tea spoons!) you had to buy your own tea, coffee & milk. On the positives the room and hotel were very clean, the mini bus service to your rooms was excellent, the pool was clean , there were always plenty of sun loungers. The 20 minute walk to kardamaina was lovely. The evening buffet was generally good with plenty of choice. Breakfast wasn’t so good with the hot drink service very slow, they also stop serving at 9.45 which was far too early! The animation team were just ‘ok’ , they weren’t very engaging or enthusiastic! In summary we didn’t have a bad stay but probably wouldn’t return
Guest：Stayed here in August, room 209 which was very claustrophobic, one door to enter/ exit which had a heavy thick curtain to give privacy, but held the heat inside, air con wasn’t the greatest, Meals were ok, however waiters ushered you to a two seat table which sometimes area were not great, it seemed like a military operation to dine often feeling intimidated , waiters especially the head was quite stern, quite off putting and evening meals you need to buy water no beverages unless you purchase. Pool area nice, crazy golf was 1.50 euros each for a broken dated area not worth it. Ping log table bats dated and had to go to main reception for ball. Night time entertainment was ok, but did not have a stage, it’s held near the pool bar so disappointing, definitely not 4 star. Kardamina is a short walk and we visited a few times, very pretty and lovely shops, pubs and eateries, we caught the local bus to Kos town from there so easy to do. All in all we made the most of the holiday but would not return to this hotel.
Guest：Pros- The hotel itself is beautiful and in a decent location. About a 20 minute walk from kardamena or if you are able to, there are scooter bikes you can access at a low cost. The food was actually lovely, although not a lot of choice the food every night seemed fresh and enjoyable. Men do have to wear trousers at night, but we just got on with it. The views from the hotel were great and the pool was huge with decent entertainment through out the day. Plenty of sun loungers and certain services provided such as a shop, gym, kids club etc. There were a few nice staff that made us feel welcome and provided us with information about taxis and shower rooms for when we had to leave our room. Cons- some staff just seemed to fob us off a bit if we had a certain issue. One time our room had a flood where sewage was coming out of the drains and the whole room was like a swimming pool. We asked it to be sorted they only mopped it, so it happened again and then the next morning they finally sorted it but we shouldnt have to ask twice. It also meant we spent a few days not being able to shower and sleeping in a stinking damp room. Also, the rooms provided a kettle but no complementary tea or coffee or even water and I just think it’s such a shame as this would make a huge difference for people upon arrival especially after a long flight.
Guest：In my opinion 'pound for pound' the best hotel in kardamena. Set in a fantastic location with spectacular views ,free WiFi and air conditioning, huge swimming pool opposite the beach. The staff are super friendly also family owned , half board and I must say the food was good - will definitely return
