Guest：What a lovely, unexpected little haven with a beautiful stained glass front door and wide wooden wrap around deck. Gorgeous house with wooden floors throughout, the rooms were huge with lovely en suite bathrooms. English breakfast with fresh fruits, cereals, toast, tea, and coffee. Helpful, quiet, and unobtrusive staff. Lovely pool with comfy loungers on the grass, great for star gazing and searching for satellites. Close enough to town to go in every day or go out for dinner. Dinner available at the guest house on pre-order, which was very good. Karoo lamb or ostrich on the nights we were there.
Guest：The stay in a old ostrich palace was great - the old house is nicely renovated and offers everything you need. The host, Daniel and other staff were very friendly and helpful. The dinner offered were really exceptional. We will be back...
Guest：Wonderful place to stay near Oudtshoorn! We stayed in a family room with 2 bedrooms and it had a nice terrace so you could see the sun set. Shower was wonderfull as well. What really made this place was the staff. So thoughtfull! Breakfast was a feast, but dinner was an even greater experience. To use my daughter’s words; 8 stars worth!!
Guest：A remnant of the bloom in the Ostrich era can be tasted here. The farmhouse is still authentic, the rooms are spacious and cool and airconditioned. The Karoo heat can sometimes be fierce but the cool house give lovely respite from it, also the lovely pool can be used. We had a really lovely experience for the entire week that we stayed there during the festival.
