Guest：Premier Inn place a lot on their promise of a good nights sleep so I was surprised at my experience with this one. Positives- the hotel is in an excellent location, it is new, modern and clean and parking nearby is very convenient (if a bit of a rip off on weekdays). Breakfast is ok, we appreciated that kids were free if we paid for a breakfast as adults. However, we stayed in a family room and the bed was horrendous. The mattress was obviously worn out, sagging in the middle- you sat on it and immediately went down to the bed base- it was so soft- I am not a very heavy person by any means. Spent 3 nights with my husband and I trying our best not to roll into the centre of the bed involuntarily, and left exhausted and with a bad back. I only wish I knew about their good nights sleep guarantee as I would have absolutely asked for a refund it was that bad. Funnily enough when I complained about the mattress to the staff, asking if they could replace it or do something, while they were polite, they said there was nothing they could do (did not mention I could claim money back from premier inn -funny that). The fact they didn't even offer to at least turn the mattress to see if it helped was a bit poor? Having marketing all over the place touting their new amazing mattresses felt like a bit of a bad joke. Have had no choice but to book again for later in the year as I've family nearby and it is the best option for that, but I really hope the mattress is improved next time.

Guest：Stayed here for two nights recently . Average premier inn room . Not much to say about it A few things let it down badly Asked for the room to be cleaned at 12.40pm . They said this would not be possible Breakfast was terrible. Buffet style with food laid out in serving dishes. Food had been there for hours. We went down to eat at 9.30am. Food cold with fried eggs hard and dry. Cheap ingredients with the worst cooked mushrooms i have ever had To top it all the bed had bed bugs . I have 4 bites on my upper thigh , only discovered after I left I have stayed at alot of premier inns and this is one of the worst Staff were friendly enough though
