Guest：We stayed for three nights and had a wonderful stay, it is a lovely house, there is a beautiful garden area with comfortable furniture and outdoor tv . Amanda and Bryan were very welcoming and friendly hosts. The bar prices were very reasonable especially if you don't want to venture down in to the town, although you can reach there as it is about a 15 minute walk through the Abbey Gardens. We were in Room 2 which had a four poster bed which was possibly too large for the size of the room. However it was very comfortable and spotless. There were other nice touches such as the complimentary biscuits and the milk for the room was very fresh, you could help yourself to a mini bottle from the downstairs fridge situated near to the bar. Breakfast was really good and very filling if you selected the full English, it was always freshly cooked and hot. There are ample other options to suit all dietary needs. Breakfast is between 08.15 to 9.15 but they will endeavour to accommodate if required. Kings Lodge is situated fairly central to both Torquay and Torre railway stations. Ample parking in the area as well. We would not hesitate to recommend staying here, this is no Fawlty Towers!

Guest：Just got back from a 5 day stay and all we can say is WOW. An amazing place to stay, very very clean, room amazing and Amand and Brian are amazing hosts nothing is too much trouble for them, the homemade cake that Amanda makes are gorgeous??. An amazing choice of foods for breakfast can highly recommend the all day breakfast. Tash who served us was lovely and very good at taking care of our needs. There was plenty of choice of drinks from the bar and very reasonable. If you are thinking of booking we would definitely recommend it we would give this place a rating of 1000/100. Will definitely be booking again. Thank you for making our holiday one to remember.
