Guest：A wonderful place.
Guest：We are three very experienced travelers who have been traveling together for many years. We only stayed one night in three rooms at Hacienda San Miguel. I usually do not write reviews about places in which I stay for only one night. However, Hacienda San Miguel deserves special mention. I have stayed in perhaps a thousand hotels in my seventy five years in many countries. If you are ready to enjoy the quiet beauty of Yucatán, you should spend some time here. I see that many of the reviews are several years old which was before the current hotel operator took over the place. I cannot say what it looked like then, but now it is beautifully repainted, with the extensive grounds and pool area in perfect shape. As the three of us sat on the wonderful front porch in the very comfortable chairs provided, we agreed that we felt like the richest people in the world. This is a very historic building, beautifully updated but still very much in the period of that time. The Hacienda is about 15-20 minutes from Valladolid, Yucatán, which is a favorite town of mine. It has grown from how it was even ten years ago and you can find excellent food and facilities there. However, it is very much worth the easy trip to stay at Hacienda San Miguel where you are stepping away from town life to a very peaceful place. The rooms were very comfortable and, as with the rest of the hacienda, meticulously clean and well provided. We were made to feel like family friends. Thank you Juan. We hope to see you soon.
Guest：For the adventurous What a lovely place. A 17th century hacienda waiting to invite adventuresome guests. While only 8 km outside bustling Valladolid, you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. We were the only guests the three nites we were there which is a shame because it really is a lovely spot and all the staff is there to make your visit comfortable. We loved it
