  • Guest：I booked hotel for two days for my wife and mom. I was anxious for the safety of their stay. But everything was very pleasant. Food was very much delicious. Will book again.

  • Guest：Peerless Hotel in Durgapur used to be a good place to stay, but the quality and service have deteriorated significantly. The rooms are poorly maintained, the beds are small, and the AC makes more noise than it provides cooling. The charges are far higher than the level of service offered. Breakfast is just okay, but dinner has become quite bad — strange food combinations, limited buffet spread, and a menu that makes little sense. You’ll often find plain rice, dal, and a basic veg fry served alongside Chinese fish or chicken, which feels odd and unplanned. If the hotel is hosting a wedding, their entire attention shifts to the wedding guests, and regular guests are barely cared for. The rooms feel stingy and very basic, yet the pricing is on the higher side. Overall, the experience no longer justifies the cost, and the hotel needs serious improvement.
  • Guest：The last time we visited this property (mid August 2025) the experience was less than spectacular. This time around it was better but there is a lot left to improve. Location: it is well marked on maps, can be easily accessed via a service road from the NH by going around the Junction Mall Check-in experience: when we arrived for check-in the staff were engaged in addressing an injury to a guest at a banquet. The trainee at the front desk was capable and competent in attending to the check-in workflow while coordinating with emergency services for the delay in availability of an ambulance. It was truly wonderful to observe the focus, calmness and composure. Rooms: the last time we had a room that was not up to spec. This time the room was better but room preparation (room readiness for guests) requires more attention. We had back and forth with housekeeping to ensure towels were stocked properly for two guests. The en-suite is clean and hot water is available. However, the shower area does not come with a curtain which results in the entire floor being wet if the shower is used. Additionally, the mirrors were left uncleaned prior to the arrival of the guest. This is not a good experience. Similarly, there's grime and dust on the rims of the lampshades next to the bed (something one gets to see when one is lying down and the lights are on) - a good supervisor would have figured this out quite quickly. Food: the staff direct one towards the buffet which is a serviceable and limited spread of dishes. And that is both interesting and seems to be the trend in hotels at this price band. The food on offer is not too great and you'd likely get better food in places around the hotel. Parking: there is open parking available inside the premises. The room we were allocated was right near the staircase which means that the loud music and noise from the birthday party at the banquet hall from the first floor kept us from having rest until it was 10PM. Interacting with the front desk to request that they ask the guests to keep the doors closed at the banquet hall resulted in a "they are having a party, there will be noise" response. Which goes a long way in demonstrating how much agency or training the staff has.
