Guest：Tororao is located right on the heart of Arraial d’Ajuda. It sits right at Rua do Mucuge and has everything nearby. The hotel is composed of little buildings with rooms on the top and bottom floors. It spreads deep into the lot and around the pool and garden. The place is very tropical and pretty. My main issue was the poor soundproofing. There is a nightclub a few buildings down and our apartment was one of the first ones near the street. While there is a double glazed door and bathroom window, it is not enough to stop the loud bass sounds blasting through the walls. In the morning I spoke to the staff and they promptly changed us to a room further down. However you can still hear the noise at night. There were no windows in the rooms we were at. Just a sliding door and a bathroom window. Which makes the rooms quite stuffy unless tou turn on the AC all night, which is not ideal. The staff was very understanding and accommodating. I recommend the hotel warns the guests about the weekend noise and maybe offer earplugs. The breakfast is nice and fresh. Besides the buffet with bread and fruit options they also have tapioca and omelete made to order. As well as a selection of fresh juices. I recommend as a mid week place or with a room further inside.
