Guest：Marevu was great ! The Staff were lovely and helpful. The Pool and gardens are beautiful. The food is delicious. One of the Highlights was learning more about Fiji and drinking kava with Rafa and going on a hike to the waterfalls ! The airport is a 15 minute stroll. As a solo traveller it is perfect to meet new people. Everything was clean and the room service great too. I can recommned as place to stay for scubadiving.
Guest：We loved our stay at Maravu! Our bure was roomy, clean and quiet…lots of room for the two of us and our adult son. The outdoor shower is lovely! It is an excellent location for diving with Salt Diver and 5 min from the beach. Easy 15 min walk from the airport. The staff are wonderful..kind and friendly. The restaurant at the lodge can be slow but the meals are very tasty and there was a good variety of dishes while we were there. Taveuni is a wonderful choice when visiting Fiji!
Guest：Loved this place! Tranquil and affordable. One thing is Wi-Fi is too slow to really do anything but starlink could fix that easily! I would get ~1mbps. Maybe we shouldn’t even need wifi but for practical reasons having a reliable source is nice.
Guest：The one and only bright spot of this place was the evening Kava which is at 7 and should be earlier but the local with a guitar and some kava with fellow travelers was the only thing that kept us sane. I was sent messages through the booking app about arrival and pickup and the amenities. When I filled out the form for pickup from the airport we arrived to no one being there. And instead of $5fjd as advertised it was $20. I don’t believe it was disclosed before arrival that there is no power from 11-4. So no fan, no fridge, no lights, no A/C. We were diving so most days it didn’t matter. All the questions I asked prior to arrival about pricing for exclusions and taxis and food options the information I got was totally incorrect. So when I got there and wasn’t picked up from the airport as advertised it was a disappointment. The front desk staff never really tried to present solutions or help really. Our previous stay in pacific harbor in Fiji the staff went out of their way when plans fell through to help us find a backup. They also told me there was meals all day and there is only breakfast and dinner, there’s no power from 11-4! the hours are varied and there’s never anyone to serve you have to go in the kitchen to get attention. Very much roughing it in the rooms which I was up for an outdoor shower and all. But no hot water or it’s scalding for 3 minutes. It’s raining outside while you’re taking a cold shower after diving all day. Then there’s the ants. We asked for the room cleaning daily to keep the ants at bay and they did not clean it except 1 day. They may have come and put towels in a second time but did not actually clean it. So next to the fridge we put our sodas and food in were ants all over the counter. Then the fridge is off from 11-4. They claim there’s bars and restaurants nearby. 1 cafe and 1 restaurant bar are walking distance. It’s a good mile to the airport convenience store. No reliable bus system. When I arranged a rental car they also backed out when they were supposed to deliver the car.
