Guest：I've been a Marriott Rewards member for a long time and I'm not sure this hotel should be in their portfolio. I was supposed to stay at the Marriott up the street, but they lost power and moved me to this hotel. The first thing that struck me was the smell in the hotel - maybe I just stayed on the wrong day, but it was very musty, like you would find at an older hotel near the beach where it is humid and people walk around in wet bathing suits. I think it's the carpets. In the morning, the cleaning staff (or someone) sprayed some very sweet smelling fragrance on our floor and it was hanging in the air, you could see it up by the lights. It was really strong by the elevators and I had to cover my nose and mouth. Next, my room also had a body odor-like smell, especially the bathroom, and there was a clump of hair in the shower. The pillows were really hard - they were all the same, no choice of "fluff." The coffee machine did not produce hot water - it was tepid, so the coffee service was not useful. The restaurant is overpriced for what you get and I wasn't feeling any ambiance in the lobby or dining area. Usually I liked to work down there in the evening, like at a Courtyard, but it didn't have that vibe. So I didn't sleep well on the night before an important business meeting. I'm sorry to complain so much, which I rarely do (I spent a career in the military so my expectations are already low), but I wasn't impressed with this property at all and will not return.
Guest：New, clean & exceptional customer service. Traveling to Charlotte monthly for work and found this little gem tucked behind a chick fil a. Beds are comfy and breakfast is al la carte with excellent choices.
Guest：What a great hotel! We had a corner room on one of the upper floors. Two queen beds. First night- two parents and two teenagers and second night just two parents. We were very comfortable. It was very quiet. I notice everything when it comes to cleanliness and our room was very clean. The frig was helpful. When we walked in the AC was already on and the room was cool. I am the only one in my group that likes a cold room in a hotel...so if you like a good AC...you would love theirs! My kids enjoyed the breakfast one morning. We used the computer ( iMac) in the lobby one evening to print something and it was free to print. It was a 15-20 min drive to Queen's University but we saved money this visit by not staying right by the campus. I would stay here again...it was worth saving the money.
Guest：we were a team of 18 people staying in this hotel for 6 weeks. The hotel was very welcoming and staff were very helpful and friendly including the cook( Rodney), servers (Jhuan) and suttle drivers(Rasul and Shergl) .
