Guest：Verina Astra was fabulous. The facility, staff and food were wonderful. The location and drive were a bit out of the way but worth the effort.
Guest：Verina Astra is a little paradise nestled into the hills of Sifnos, overlooking the ocean, and easily the best hotel I have ever stayed at in Greece. Upon arrival you’re greeted with welcome delicious drinks made with ingredients grown in the in-house garden and the staff are super lovely and inviting. Our room blew us away, and we couldn’t believe the view! The rooms are tastefully decorated and stocked with organic toiletries, a mini bar and delicious snacks. The room service menu was also very yummy! I recommend visiting their restaurant Bostani, which was incredibly tasty, using local produce. It overlooks a beautiful view of the ocean and a small town named Kastro (which is worth visiting). This hotel is a tranquil haven that you will not want to leave. Whether you are relaxing in your room or by the main pool, you will feel right at home and at peace surrounded by nature. You can also take a short walk down to a small cove below the hotel which is perfect for a morning swim. 10/10 would recommend!
Guest：Our stay at Verina Astra was simply divine! It is certainly one of the most tranquil places I have ever stayed. The peacefulness that surrounds this mountaintop hotel brought an immediate sense of awe and calm upon arriving. And going in May was lovely with all the beautiful wildflowers in full bloom! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed at reception and treated to delicious welcome drinks as we took in the absolutely breathtaking view from their pool area. That view is unreal. It makes you feel like you are gazing out into the abyss. Endless blue. Our room, named — Pegasus was perfect! I love how each room is named uniquely and ours had such a lovely outdoor area. Throughout our stay, we were consistently touched by the genuine warmth of every staff member. Their kindness made our time here truly special. Each morning began with a lovely complimentary breakfast that set our day to a refreshing. I loved the fresh orange juice and the flexible of options to choose from. Everything so fresh! Our room was kept spotless, and our belongings were always handled with care by the cleaning staff. I’ll also mention that the reception team was incredibly helpful, offering thoughtful recommendations and assisting us via email even days before our arrival! One of my favorite things they helped me schedule was a local pottery experience — which I highly recommend booking! We also booked at the Bostani Spa which was an amazing way to end our trip. Long story long, Verina Astra is one of the most beautiful hotels we’ve stayed at. And I cannot recommend it enough! Every detail was carefully curated to offer a peaceful, tranquil experience which we deeply felt. Thank you to the entire Verina team for making our time so special in Sifnos!
Guest：Absolutely LOVED this hotel. It’s a bit of a trek to get to, but well worth it! Every member of the staff was incredibly helpful and warm, always willing to do whatever you needed . The food there was the best we had on the island, and the chef was just super. He always came out to check on us and make sure that we were enjoying our meal. The location is stunning …I plan on returning!
