  • Guest：Just spent 3 nights at The Buck with my wife and 2 mutts. Walked up to Bucken Pike to see the snow and ice and then did the north side 'triangle' via Yockenthwaite and Hubberholme the following day. Upper Wharfdale is perhaps the prettiest of the Dales? But the Inn? Absolutely . Loved it. The boss is a star and his staff are lovely, warm and attentive. This is just the place to come back to after a long day in the hills. The log fires are welcoming, he keeps a nice selection of proper ales on tap and the food is cooked perfectly by the young chef. Loved the ambience of the place and felt completely relaxed at the end of it. It's also good value for money bearing in mind how well looked after you are and where the Buck is located. Lastly, a big shout out to the canny Durham/Geordie lass who looked after us. You were amazing and we wish you a great future in whatever you do. We will be back soon and thank you to everyone for making our stay both highly enjoyable and memorable. *****
  • Guest：Der lokale Pub ist originell und gemütlich. Das flackernde Holzfeuer geh?rt mit zum Ambiente. Es gibt eine gute Auswahl an Bieren, auch alkoholfrei und neben der festen Speisekarte auch Tagesgerichte. Alles den Preis wert und lecker. Vor dem Pub kann man sehr sch?n sitzen und brütende Spatzen und Stare beobachten. Und Sonntags gibt es den Sonntagsbraten!
