Guest：Maria e la sua famiglia ti accolgono con quella delicatezza e gentilezza che ti fanno innamorare del posto nel medesimo istante che scendi dall’auto. Posti come questo dovrebbero essere premiati e sostenuti economicamente, per la sapienza con la quale sono stati recuperati i vecchi edifici minerari, dando una nuova possibilità di sviluppo col turismo a territori che altrimenti sarebbero abbandonati. Tutto si basa sulla semplicità, dai materiali agli arredi, fino alle materie prime scelte e selezionate per la prima colazione. Tutto buono, genuino e locale con una nota di eccellenza per le torte di Maria. Panorama fantastico, che al tramonto si accende di rosa.
Guest：Benessere per la pulizia e la cura nell'allestimento dei luoghi (attento e rispettoso recupero di edifici ex minerari) dove la forza della pietra si sposa con l'essenzialità, i servizi che occorrono ed il gusto. Benessere per la colazione abbondante e con prodotti casalinghi (torte e biscotti) servita da Maria e dalla sua mamma nel gazebo in legno di fronte alle camere. Tutto intorno è natura: montagna, pecore al pascolo, notti stellate. Da questa sistemazione (paese di Arbus a 10 minuti) risulta comodo scendere alla spiaggia e alle dune di Piscinas, ma anche visitare le miniere (Ingurtosu o Porto Flavia a sud), spostandosi anche sulla costa ad altre spiagge (Cala Domestica verso Iglesias). Sistemazione consigliatissimo con ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Grazie Maria e buon lavoro.
Guest：Only late at night, we fully realized the appropriateness of the name "Rocks of the Stars": initially surrounded by the Ancestral Darkness of Primeval Nights (the owners purposely keep the lights low in the parking and in the common areas !) - we were then literally overwhelmed by the starry heaven above and all around us (the B&B is on a rocky hilltop) feeling projected in the farthest distances of the Unknown Universe.. Definitely a "mystical experience" of ...other Ages...when men had another connection with Nature.... The buildings are beautiful in their original stones, bedrooms are wide, with high roofs, very clean. The stone walls and the soft external winds keep the temperature inside just perfect . We were there in mid July ...but we just turned on the super silent fan provided one night. In 20 minutes drive you'll reach one of the nicest and longest beaches in Europe (the last 3 km are on a dirt road). The breakfast is superlative, and range from superb home made biscuits, different types of home made cakes, home made sheep yogurt, fresh bread, ham, cheese, excellent omelettes, 5-star genuine jam of different types, 4-5 types of the best local honey, exquisite tasty coffee, etc.etc. Being a "breakfast lover", I could come to this place just for the breakfast experience ! Young Maria is the " daily manager" and the "artist" of all the cakes : hers and her mother Marilena 's hospitality was warm and sincere: Maria projected towards modern professionalism and striving for perfection, while "mamma" Marilena silently representing... Tradition and Roots to the Territory. Definitely a ...."heavenly" experience - that we strongly recommend !!
