Guest：We actually based our entire trip to Sicily around the amazing Hortus residence and it did not disappoint. Luca has an amazing property that he has exquisitely designed and restored. We were met by Lorenzo who did a wonderful job of getting us acquainted with the entire property. It was beautiful inside and out with gorgeous artwork and tasteful decor. In reading the information on the property after we checked in, it was amazing to hear how Luca designed and developed the property and even saved features like the fruit tree in the garden area. We actually had oranges from the tree for our breakfast which were amazing. One of our favorite nights was cooking in the beautiful kitchen. The wine cellar had a great selection of wines. They also had a wonderful list of recommendations of restaurants which we took advantage of. Our only regret is because we came in winter, we weren't able to enjoy the outside garden as much as we would've in the summer. We had a wonderful time exploring Modica, Regusa and Noto and it was super easy to get around.
Guest：Everything has been made with amazing taste and care. The beautiful house, as well as the magical garden with the orange trees, the hot tub, and views of San Giorgio Cathedral, make your stay a unique experience. Really nice host and a great welcome to the house.
