  • Guest：We booked 3 rooms, 6 adults for the weekend. We were so surprised with how clean, tidy and what a location!. We all sat at the tables on the water at our doors and enjoyed watching the bird life, lots of fish jumping. It was quite and peaceful and the owners were so friendly. The rooms had everything we needed, VERY CLEAN, comfortable and a little retro. Just loved it. We walked around the caves at caves beach. We walked to Coles, bottle shop and the RSL for live music and an amazing meal. We are planning to all go back with our kyacks and fishing rods for the weekend. I would highly recommend staying here and looking forward to staying there again. Linda
  • Guest：We arrived at 1.30pm after a long drive and were able to check in. We chose the waterfront rooms, and they're worth the extra money. It was a very hot day and the sun was very strong at the front of the motel, facing the road. The area at the back had a great breeze, was in the shade, so we spent the afternoon sitting on the chairs, admiring the lake view with ducks and reading. The motel is 1960's, and has had a lot of renovations. Our room #8 I think, was very small with an old and noisy aircon which we didn't use, making use of the excellent new fan instead. 4 rooms have new aircon as of this date. The on off switch was low, but unless you're very tall, you need to climb on a chair to make temperature adjustments. Upon mentioning this to staff, they said they're happy to do it for guests. There's a great bench for breakfast overlooking the lake. I took some glorious early morning photos. New vanity, but rest of bathroom not done. Excellent lighting, very clean, super comfortable bed and pillows. Cute kettle, espresso machine, fair trade tea, biscuits, herbology bathroom amenities. A great motel, great staff, and would stay again in the waterview rooms.
  • Guest：This place is old but loved. I took a waterfront room and had a great view of the amazing bird life. The room has lots of personal touches and, pleasant surprise, a coffee pod machine. I’ve stayed in many more expensive places that just give you the old instant packet. The Swansea RSL is just up the road and provides a good, cheap meal and a surprisingly interesting wine list. A great place to break your trip but it would also be a good base for a longer stay.
  • Guest：Fantastic find on the lake front. Visited here recently whilst passing through the area and really enjoyed our stay. The people who run it are lovely. Nice relaxing spot, we got a lake view room and had a fantastic sleep. The bar/restaurant suggestions that the lady gave us when we checked in were also really good.
