  • Guest：Hands down! This place was magical. For my fello travelers, am sure you can't see any hostel in Watamu. You can literally cook yoir own food and work in remotely(wifi allover). This awesome place has tents(where I stayed) which are pocket friendly, beach front( I was here for kiting classes and could literally walk from my tent to beach). The staff was amazing! Make sure you try Grace's rice and Stanley's marmlade. Ken is like the magician; one minute he's security, next minute serving you in kitchen, next reminding you about your tent door. I was with my daughter and never felt some type away. Hidden gem for sure
  • Guest：I love this place. I have been coming to the Kenya coast for over 30 years. WBC has to rate as my favorite. The cottages are simple, but well provisioned. You feel like you are living in the middle of nature. The staff make the place. Benjamin is a true gem. No matter what the issue, he has it resolved. A big shoutout to Harriet, our housekeeper. The flower decorations on my bed were over the top.
  • Guest：I absolutely loved my stay at Watamu Beach Cottages. The fully equiped cottages are very secluded in the middle of nature, and just a short walk to the beach. The property is filled with flowers, making for beautiful scenery and attracting all sorts of butterflies. My stay was made very pleasant by the kind staff. Especially the kitchen staff who made delicious meals and made for good vibes! (don't forget to work on Jordan's dancing skills) I really appreciated Benjamin and Gatt, who were always ready to assist (arranging transport, spider removal) and looked out for me. Also, Jordan is such a lovely host, always going out of his way to make you feel welcome, and very knowledgable on the environment (even constellations). I believe any stay here feels too short. (Unfortunately) the Mara calls, but I will certainly be back in the future!
  • Guest：Such a perfect place! Super close to a beautiful beach where you can enjoy the sunrise, a nice pool area under the palm trees, good breakfast and dinner, comfortable room with AC and fan, friendly staff. I was there to work remotely. Real good place for that too.
