Guest：Absolutely fabulous booked for 3 weeks again next May ! Comfy bed, and sofa, lovely position in the old town,great thought gone into the design of the suite. Laundry facilities available which we used. Just loved it ! Thanks marinos!
Guest：We have just arrived home after 2 amazing weeks in Casa Maistra. This for us was in a perfect location, near to the old town and venetian harbour and the best restaurants recommmended by Marinos. Trust this as the food is stunning in every one recommended. The apartment was perfect for us as it is near to the Greek life of Rethmynon, near to a beach, a supermarket, bus station, harbour, shops and central to visiting other places on the Island. We managed to visit a lot of places from here in 2 weeks by boat, bus and taxi even managing 2 gorges and a trip to Santorini. There is car hire close by but we decided to not use this. Marinos provides as much help and support for you that you need. He is so helpful. The little breads and surprises you get just make it that extra little bit special. We organised a taxi with Marinos and a special mention has to be given to Zenofon as he was so helpful and we even booked a day with him to show us other parts of the island. Both Marinos and Zenefon made us feel very safe, we knew as 2 ladies that if we needed anything, we could call them. The apartment is lovely and decorated in the traditional Cretan style with a balcony overlooking the restaurants and the the sea or you have a patio upstairs. Both are in the sun and shade at different times of the day which is nice. There is some music from the bars but with the shutters and doors shut with air conditioning on, you cannot really hear this and we slept very well and it was good to be part of the night life. The beds are very comfortable. The apartment is very clean and has everything you need including towels, coffee machine, washing up bits, shower gels etc. We didn't need anything as it was provided. Barbara is a lovely cleaner who will pop in and clean whenever is required. The beaches are lovely, the resort is lovely and we would not hesitate to visit again and stay at the lovely Casa Maistra. We loved Crete, Rethmynon and will be back to stay again. Thankyou Marinos.
Guest：We hired this place for 12 nights as a well needed break. The only downside is the 2 flights of stairs to get to the Sea Panorama Suite. However, once you have negotiated those the apartment is well worth it. Set over 2 floors there is a spacious lounge with small balcony over looks the beach and port. A well equipped kitchen means that breakfasts, the odd lunch are easy to assemble. The provision of coffee pods for the coffee machine, tea, sugar etc. was well received. Upstairs there are 2 well proportioned kjngsized bedrooms and a good sized bathroom with shower, toiletries are provided, along with towels. Mariano’s, the owner met us and made sure we were happy with everything, leaving us with an amazing cherry cake. During our stay, if we ever needed anything he was there asap. We asked for a mid rent clean and it was great, leaving us with a huge apple and cinnamon cake. Mariano’s is a count of local knowledge and got us cheap car hire through a friend of his, airport transfers through another contact and really couldn’t do enough for us. If you are looking to stay in Rethymno for a few days or longer, forget the hotels and book this place!
Guest：The location of this lodging was perfect for traveling around Crete. We stayed in the Sea View apartment. The master bedroom is on the street side which means there is noise in the evening. The second bedroom has access to the rooftop patio. You can’t see the ocean from the patio but there is seating and a table to have an outdoor meal. Access to the apartment is from back of the building, not the ocean side. Free parking is a 10 minute walk away.
