Guest：The room was beautiful, beds very comfy. We had a family room - with two separate rooms and 1 bathroom. The breakfast was continental and lovely. Although my daughter is vegan so was limited for her, but she is used to that especially in Portugal. She enjoyed melon & peanut butter on toast. The manager kindly made us a breakfast bag to take for our early flight which was fantastic. The location was 20min walk from the centre but by the beautiful cristal Palace park which was lovely for the children to relax in after a hot day site seeing. The hotel was also spotless and the children loved the cake on offer and I appreciated the coffee and tea making facilities. Definitely recommend
Guest：From the main train station, we caught the metro to Lapa then backpacked over to the hotel, this took us about fifteen minutes, as we were approaching I became concerned that we could be in for a noisy night, fortunately I had booked a room at the back of the hotel with a view of the back garden otherwise street noise might have been an issue. The room was as I was expecting from the online images, I loved the tall balcony doors and sheer curtains in our room, four pillows on the bed and air-conditioning, unfortunately the shower water was only ever luke warm. The decor of the hotel is pleasant but the dining room was extra inviting and most relaxing especially at breakfast time. The breakfast buffet was plentiful with a good range of cold sweet and savoury, we very much enjoyed the cheese and cured meats platter. The hotel has a cafe attached which is open to the public, at night the noise drifts through the hotel and can be heard even with the doors closed and the air-conditioning on until 10pm. There was minimal staff interactions, we only spoke to a female staff member at check-in briefly and never saw another during our overnight stay, I prefer interactions. The hotel was well located for our stay, fifteen minutes to the nearest metro (Lapa) and centre, more importantly just ten minutes away from the Duoro River to start our Camino walking.
Guest：Espectacular. Es un hotel peque?ito frente al Jardín del Palacio de Cristal. Cogimos una habitación grande, para 4 personas. La habitación es muy cómoda y espaciosa, está muy limpia y muy tranquila. Al menos está habitación disponía de una peque?a cocina, un hervidor de agua y microondas. En la planta baja siempre hay café, infusiones y un dulce disponibles a cualquier hora. El personal es increíblemente amable y detallista. A los peques les dejaron dos conejitos de Pascua de chocolate en la habitación, a ese nivel de detalle me refiero. El desayuno es buffet, muy completo con opciones dulces y saladas (unos croissant riquísimos) . Lo recomiendo 100% para un viaje de calidad. Spectacular. It's a little hotel in fron of Jardim do Palacio de Cristal. We booked a large room for 4 people, and it was spacious, clean and quiet. Such room is equipped with a little stove, kettle and a microwave. In the ground floor there is always coffe, tea and cake available from r customers. The satff is incredibly kind and attentive, to the point that they left two chocolate Easter bunnies in the room for our children. There is a breakfast buffet, quite complete with sweet and savoury options (the croissants were incredible)
