Good location for what we were visiting. Decent sized room with large comfy bed. Lots of switches which was a bit confusing. Housekeeping and restaurant staff very helpful and courteous, as were reception staff. Had internal room so no natural light, but lots of lights in room.

I can’t say enough about the “all-hands-on-deck” help I received while staying at the Regent. I lost my phone while traveling to Delhi and I was frantic to find a new phone so I could at least take pictures and communicate via text with my tour mates. When I explained my situation, three staff members immediately reached out to their contacts to find me a phone I could use while in India. Then, the Manager assigned a staff member to personally escort me to an ATM so I could withdrawal the cash I needed to buy the phone, the phone store itself, then another location to buy a protective cover. I know I took him away from his regular duties, but being a first-time visitor to India it was a great comfort to be with someone I could absolutely trust in a new environment. My room was spacious and clean, the breakfast buffet was delicious, and the wait staff were very attentive. I highly recommend this hotel.

The food and rooms were good but the staff should be more friendly. None of them smile or bother to say good morning or good evening. We are on holiday and we don’t want to see miserable faces
