Loved this hotel! The staff at check in were so incredibly friendly and helpful. The property is beautiful and has great amenities. Dyson blow dryers and adjustable beds in the room were a fun surprise. Great location and loved the funicular to get up and down the hill quickly. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Wir durften ein Nachtessen mit übernachtung im Hotel Montana genie?en – und es war von A bis Z ein herausragendes Erlebnis. Das 6-Gang-Menü von Küchenchef Johan Breedijk war ein kulinarisches Highlight: kreativ komponiert, perfekt abgestimmt und mit viel Liebe zum Detail zubereitet. Jeder Gang überraschte auf seine eigene Art und machte den Abend zu einer Genussreise auf h?chstem Niveau. Unser Zimmer in der 5. Etage mit traumhaftem Seeblick bot h?chsten Komfort. Die Kombination aus stilvollem Design und der atemberaubenden Aussicht sorgte für eine wunderbar entspannte Atmosph?re. Der Service war durchgehend ausgezeichnet – aufmerksam, herzlich und professionell. Wir fühlten uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen und bestens betreut. Fazit: Best in town. Wir kommen jederzeit sehr gerne wieder.

Faulsehood Surprisingly told that dispute high price I paid per night, breakfast was excluded. Had to pay a lot more on site. Receptionist told me I’d been upgraded to a penthouse given how much I’d paid which was equivalent to penthouse. Only to actually see the penthouse which was next door! Very inappropriate. I slept and went to work. Skipped breakfast etc and just did what I needed to do. Good views nonetheless. Pretty much.

Great Location and Views! Friendly staff. A ton of room features.. only drawback was the room could get a little stuffy without a real ac system. A fan was provided to help with circulation and only comes into need during the hottest of days.

The tram is built into the hotel and takes you directly to the promenade, super convenient. Hotel is Meticulously maintained and we appreciated the complimentary soft drinks. Wouldn’t think twice about staying here again, do it you won’t regret it.

Our stay in Hotel Montana Art Deco in Lucerne This was a bit pricey but we got way more in return. Our room was facing the lake with balcony. Excellent location and hotel provides free bus passes during guest stay which is great especially with the bus stop right by the hotel exist when using their free Funicular. Breakfast was great but we ate out the rest. Our bed was the most comfortable since our stay in Europe the last 10 days.

Excellent location and room amenities. The Dyson hairdryer and espresso machine were a special touch. Dinner at night on the patio at La Scala and cocktails prior at the rooftop bar were spectacular with a view not to be matched. Excellent service and a beautiful hotel. Definitely get the room with the lake view and two balconies.

Has great views - it’s up on a hill that overlooks Lake Lucerne, Mt Pilatus and the city

I love how the staff members were very professional and knowledgeable about Lucerne. They were friendly and accommodating. Whenever I had questions, they were able to find the answers for me. I also found the location to be quiet and peaceful. The view of Lake Lucerne from the hotel is beautiful. The place also has a funicular, and it is close to the bus stop. I highly recommend this place because I felt very safe. It also made my stay in Lucerne memorable.
