The location is lovely however be prepared for a single track road approach, which gave me a bit of anxiety every time we returned to the farm (despite coming from Suffolk where we have a lot of country lanes). On arrival, we were welcomed by cream tea and an explanation that they no longer provided full breakfast on site. You were given a voucher for a cafe in Looe 10 mins drive away. The room itself is quirky but clean but needs a bit of work. If this place had been cheaper and marketed differently, I wouldn't be disappointed, but it is marketed as a 5 star boutique B&B, and it is most certainly not that! Read the reviews before you book, I wish I had as we wouldn't have booked here. However, if you are looking for a decent basic clean base to stay and don't mind paying over the odds for what it is, this is a lovely little quirky place I hope that the owners change the advert and rethink the price as otherwise they may start to lose customers.

Very nice place, very peaceful, and at first glances it seems to have all you would want from a top rated b & b....especially if you are prepared to pay top b&b prices…However!! We were quickly disappointed because the actual breakfast offering is not as described on their website. You’re told on arrival that you’ll not get the 5* farmhouse breakfast, which you should get for these prices, at all. Breakfast is actually served in a cafe in Looe! You are given a voucher to take. You also have to pay for the parking if you can find a space. We had to wait 20 mins for a table, and then told the food would be a while because they were busy. Having said that, when we finally got our order the food was nice. It's a shame because we were expecting to have a lovely restful stay here given the owners glowing explanation of the facilities on their website , but I’m sorry to say, the food element is being mis-sold. From the client perspective , who wants to be on holiday and have to get up early to drive 10 mins, then find parking at a cost to have breakfast? It’s a far cry from what is described and charged for, and in our view, is unacceptable. It is fair to say that there are self service continental style snacks and drinks freely available in what probably used to be the breakfast room, but it's also fair to say the 5 star breakfast you’re led to expect prior to arrival should be as described, in the setting described. Our room was pleasant enough, however, the room scent had dried out, and the shower floor smelt of wet rot, you can see where the shower was leaking and rotting the wooden floor. The WiFi was almost unusable, and the TV outdated with very few channels available. On leaving, I mentioned our disappointment at being misled over the breakfast arrangements . The lady said that ‘unfortunately’ it’s a problem with hospitality that chefs are expensive and unaffordable. Our ‘unfortunately’ was that we didn’t get what we paid for, and paid very well for! Surely, If you can’t do what you say you’ll do then stop saying it! There is a small kitchenette in the room, so why not advertise as self catering and reduce the price? The lady said she would feed it back, but offered no real sincere apology, just a rather unsatisfactory reason. It’s a shame, this could be, and perhaps should be at these prices, the perfect place to chill and enjoy. If you want to avoid our experience with the breakfast, suggest you check before booking!

I visited Trenderway Farm for their Sunday Roast in late October (27th), and it was superb. It was one of the best Sunday lunches we, as a family, had eaten for a very long time. We were expecting a carvery, but we actually got table service, which was very friendly and efficient. It was as fresh and well cooked as possible and frankly more than you could eat. The atmosphere was excellent, with plenty of space in the dining room, and very well-priced. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

We went here for a roast dinner on a Wednesday evening. It was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we arrived till we left we were looked after impeccably and could not fault anything. Food was delicious and you had a choice of meat or all three on the menu. Great service great setting off the beaten track and lovely ambience

Here at Trenderway Farm we are spending these holiday days like in a fairy tale!! We come from Italy and during our travels in Great Britain and Scotland in recent years, we have never had an experience like this. Our cottage is wonderful, the bathroom is a dream, the breakfast is lovely Beautiful base for visiting the surroundings with Polperro and the entire coast!!!

We went this evening for their Wednesday roast dinner. Served from 16.00 to 20.00. It was plentiful, well presented & very tasty with a choice of 3 meats or a mix of each. The staff were friendly and helpful. The area was clean & tidy. They also serve a roast dinner on Sunday lunchtime Will definitely be back

We stayed at Trenderway farm in the Granary , lovely area peaceful and quiet lanes are very narrow on approach to the property but worth it.Our accommodation was warm, comfortable and provided us with all we required, comfortable beds lovely bathroom with rain shower hot powerful water. Nice comfy sofa and chair for watching TV ,reading ,along with a great beverage / enclosed kitchen area with good selection of teas coffee milk apple juice and water in mini fridge. Breakfast was perfect both cold and cooked selection served in a nice dining area by very accommodating friendly staff . Nothing too much trouble perfect in every way , will most definitely return hopefully later in the year .

Fabulous. Stayed in the Meadow Barn- perfect place for a short break The barn is fully furnished and luxurious- but our favourite part was how it opened on to the meadow. Every evening we were joined by Canadian Geese and their goslings- the occasional fox and the owners black Labrador who rapidly made himself at home awaiting some snacks! The last night a curious young deer bounced into view making our short break.
