La habitacion limpia, fresca, la decoracion, los cuadros hermosos. Espejo gigante y La Refrigeradora. 100% I Recommend It:1. Mary, the manager, treated me like a sister. She gave me her WhatsApp number and throughout my stay recommended places to visit and eat, and she asked, if I needed more towels, anything I need I let know her. For me the most awesome: the taxi was waiting for me. I was afraid of kidnappings, but Mary, went out to check who the taxi driver and told me, "I know him. Galapagos is safe. 2. The hotel's location is excellent. (Taxi costs $2) it's a 5-minute to Ferry, Charles Darwin R. 3. Hotel Employee took me to my room, opened the door, and turned on the TV and the brand-new air conditioning! The room was clean the decor excellent, and the pictures beautiful. A giant mirror covered the entire wall and Refrigerator.
Guest：Island House Divar is in a serene place away from other bustling areas in Goa. One can go for long walks on the quiet roads of Divar Island or explore it by car. It is accessible by ferry only so one needs to plan one's outings according to the ferry timings. It was in keeping with our requirement for a quiet and peaceful stay. However, this property needs more upkeep. It is an old family house converted into a home stay. The bedrooms are average in size but have no ventilation. Screens on windows can help let in fresh air. The bathrooms need to be modified too with shower enclosures/screen so that the bathwater does not spread over the floor. We had to request for a floor wiper to make the place safe for use. Once a room has been booked the caretakers must ensure that the fittings are working properly. The room we were given had faulty bathroom fittings right from the shower to the basin taps. Furniture, especially near the poolside needs far better upkeep. While the breakfast was good, ordered meals are not that great. Also it all seems ad hoc as different prices are quoted at different times for set meals for lunch/dinner. There is no menu card/price list...so whether one orders a single egg with one slice of bread it cost the same as 2 eggs. Clarity would help to make process of ordering food more transparent. People are on the lookout for places like Island House Divar for a restful retreat. Upgrading the place and services would help.
