I find it hard to believe it’s a 4 star hotel, doesn’t have a restaurant, or bar. The quality of the breakfast is more like a third world country not Italy, uneven pillows, aircon doesn’t work in the rooms. Mosquitoes and flies came from the air conditioning when I had it turned on, you can see this from pictures below. The hotel is in desperate need of upgrades, it seems like it hasn’t had any work done on it in 50 years. I booked in for 6 nights, but I left after 3, I tried to get refunded from the hotel, but they would not do this. The walk to Taormina centre is an extremely tough uphill climb, not made for people that are not fit.

The hotel was a pleasant surprise! The beach is very close, with an easy access to the sea. The train station is just a short walk away, which is super convenient. The rooms are comfortable, and the breakfast exceeded all expectations, a rich selection and excellent quality products.

è la seconda volta che soggiorno all’hotel Corallo per le mie vacanze a Taormina. Sono pienamente soddisfatto dei 5 giorni trascorsi in questa struttura vicinissima al mare, a Giardini Naxos e a Taormina. I fratelli Marco e Andrea lo gestiscono in maniera straordinaria. Sono professionali, disponibili e gentili. Sanno consigliarti siti turistici, ristoranti e percorsi per raggiungerli. L’hotel dispone di una grande piscina circondata dal verde e da comodi lettini. La camera è pulita, il bagno spazioso e dotato di ogni confort. La vista davvero incredibile: mare e pale di fico d’India hanno fatto da cornice a foto davvero magnifiche. Ricca e variegata la colazione dove è possibile trovare ogni giorno delle torte fatte in casa. Gli spazi comuni sono funzionali e profumano di pulito. La zona è tranquilla e all’esterno dell’hotel c’è la possibilità di parcheggiare la propria auto. Sicuramente ci ritornerò quanto prima!

A clean, friendly, welcoming hotel with great team and facilities, including delicious breakfast options and dining room with sea view. Outside pool with sun loungers and decent hotel bar, open late. Beachside location with view of slopes up to Taormina Old Town. Need to take bus to and from the city as it's a steep hike up and down!

Estuvimos un solo dia y la experiencia fue genial. Muy lindo y limpio el hotel, el balcon hermoso amplio con vista al mar, con dos comodas reposeras para disfrutar el atardecer La pileta grande y hermosa. La atencion del personal muy empatica y amable. Nos ayudaron en todo, gracias

Very pretty and well-maintained. Balcony was pleasant. The breakfast had a great variety, and new delectable pastries were added each day. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was too firm-like sleeping on a wooden slab. Pillows were flat and hard. We asked for a blanket to cushion the bed and a softer pillow, which were delivered immediately. I still had to fold the pillow in half to get some lift. The toilet sounded like a rocket launcher when flushed. The room doors were very loud when closed- sounded like closing vault doors. We could hear nearby toilets flushing, as well. The room instructions indicated that ABSOLUTELY NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINKS IN THE ROOM! That request is a little too much, considering travelers might have snacks. A mini bar was provided… The swimming pool was cool, clean, and refreshing. The bar looked inviting, but we did not visit it. If you are a sound sleeper and don’t need cushiness, I would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is nice and cozy. The beach is just accros the street, you walk through the tunnel under the street. There you find a restaurant, sun beds and parasols to rent. Very clean sea. The hotel has a good size pool with a kids section. Is great to relax at the pool and have a drink from the bar. Sea view rooms are very nice. City center is not far. We had a car and drove there, but i think you cant walk there as the center is on the cliff above the hotel. Staff is very friendly. We were very satistied.
