El mejor sitio donde nos alojamos en Sri Lanka con mucha diferencia. De hecho fuimos para pasar una noche y acabamos estando 5 noches, el resto del viaje. Desde la piscina del hotel tienes vistas a la Roca del León y la cantidad de actividades que puedes hacer por la zona es muy amplia. Ellos mismo te pueden organizar estás excursiones a un precio muy razonable. En nuestro caso nos organizaron visitas a Ecopark, Centro cultural de danza de Habarana, Caminata nocturna de avistamiento de Loris, y excursiones a Dambulla y Polanaruwa. Además tienen opción de alquilar una moto si lo necesitas. Tambien nos llevaron al aeropuerto. Una pena tener que marchar pero si volviéramos a Sri Lanka repetiríamos seguro. En resumen una familia y un lugar encantador.

I had a two night stay at Sinhagiri Villa and really enjoyed it. It’s a smallish, family run boutique hotel. You’ll enjoy home cooked meals and a very warm welcome while you’re there. While the rooms may be basic they are very clean and well maintained. It is convenient to local historic sites as well as other points of interest. We climbed Pidurangala Rock one morning and the hosts arranged a predawn tuk tuk driver for us. If you’re looking for an enjoyable stay as you explore Sri Lanka you won’t go wrong here. One note, my friend and I were self driving and had just clicked on the hotel on Google Maps to get navigation. The pin must be placed in the wrong location because we were routed about 20 minutes out of the way. When we entered the physical address found on the internet into the navigation it took us directly to Sinhagiri Villa. There is a great little lunch spot that is about a 1Km walk from the Villa, McCafe, check it out while you’re there, you’ll love it!
