Nelson was wonderful, place was so close to the beach and the food. Very good and kind staff, and very clean.

Very good location convenient for Camps Bay. Property in need of some modernization. Cleaning standards need improving. Towels not changed without asking.

L'h?tel est bien situé, à 10 minutes à pied de la plage et des restaurants de Camps Bay. Le personnel est très aimable et serviable. Petit bémol : l'h?tel aurait besoin d'un petit rafra?chissement : la clé de la grille d'entrée ne fonctionnait pas correctement, la porte de douche difficile à rouvrir, le cable TV défectueux.
Rien de très méchant, l'endroit reste très agréable. La chambre était propre et spacieuse. Le petit déjeuner était varié et copieux.

I have stayed at 61 on Camps Bay many times previously and have always been happy.
This time we arrived and the property looked tired and in need of renovation. The room felt a little grubby and the blind in the bathroom was rusty and broken (room 5).
The staff were lovely, as always. Very friendly and helpful.
Nonetheless, I’ll probably stay in different accommodation next time.

The place is run by men only. Same limited breakfast daily. Bedding & towels are not changed, the cleaning is poor and not thorough.

61 on Camps Bay was the start of our 1 month Africa adventure, g we couldn't have asked for a better one. We had a beautiful room with an Ocean view & a nice deck to enjoy it. The roomm is a good size & the bed super comfortable. The staff even provided us with an extra heater as Cape Town was unseasonably cold. It's less than 10 minutes walk to reach the main sea front of Camps Bay & the whole area felt very safe. Lots of nice bars & restaurants to chose from on the front. The staff were very friendly & provided a delicious cooked breakfast every day. Sure there are more luxurious places to stay in Camps Bay, it's a very trendy suburb, but 61 gave us everything we needed at a price that was excellent value for the location. Thanks to all the team & we would certainly stay again

Our room had the most breathtaking view, the bed was comfortable and the staff was very friendly, definitely recommending my family and friends

Amazing location with beautiful views, we went down to the beach and enjoyed the sunset as seen in the attached picture. The hotel is clean, staff are brilliant and there was a great choice for breakfast. You won't find better for the price you pay. Thank you
