Wir mochten die Terrasse. Das Frühstück war singalesisch und üppig. Gerne hat Samantha uns die Zubereitung erkl?rt. Sie hatte gute Tipps für Ausflüge. Ihr Nachbar f?hrt zu einem fairen Preis tuktuk. Sie zahlt für den Schwarztee, den es für die Ortsans?ssigen nur als 2. und 3. Wahl gibt, den doppelten Preis wie wir für die erste Wahl.
Guest：Located away from the 'main *****', but good for the walk to Nine Arches Bridge and Little Adams' Peak. To get to the entrance, there's a very steep slope up. My room was on the 2nd storey (via external steps), and looks out over trees. The room had 2 double beds, both with mossie nets (not needed, as it was quite cold). The bed was relatively comfortable. Unfortunately, the bathroom let the room down a little with a very poor shower (lack of pressure, and warm water at best). Breakfasts were plentiful, and the host was very pleasant.
Guest：I had stayed at the beginning of 2024. I spend my trip days very freely. With natural air I feel like a heaven. They have big rooms with large balconies. Staff is also very friendly and supportive. They help us to find out some uncommon beautiful plces to visit in ella also. I can't forget the taste of their meals. Samadhi nature resort is the best hotel when you focusing mainly about the freedom and the food. Little Adams peek and 9 arches are very near to here. So it was very easy to me to save money from tuks. If I come again Ella with our family. Exactly I will come this hotel again.
Guest：Our stay at Samadhi Nature Resort was one of the highlights to our holiday in Sri Lanka. I'd highly recommend that anyone visiting Ella or the surrounding area chooses this lovely place. It's not really a resort us such but more a small family-run guesthouse in an attractive old/colonial-style building - with high ceilings, tasteful decor, clean airy rooms. There's a small surrounding garden, where they have taken care to maintain old trees, cinnamon plants etc. One of our favourite things to do during our stay was just sitting on the balcony/verandah area outside our room, listening to the tropical birds and taking in the views of the surrounding Ella hills. In terms of the decor and the ambience alone, it already felt like good value for the very reasonable price we were paying. But what makes this place really stand out is the excellent service we received from our lovely hosts, Tharindu and his mother - which consistently went above and beyond. They are such sweet people, and were clearly anxious to know their guests were having a good time. We found they were always available to give us helpful advice when we needed it/help us arrange trips in the surrounding area. Also worth noting that their neighbour has a tuk-tuk and was happy to take us on short- and long-distance trips around the area at pretty short notice - which was convenient. And the food...oh my goodness the food. The breakfast (cooked by Tharindu's mother) was outstanding - and she is also happy to prepare dinner too on request, which was equally excellent (a huge range of curries and Sri Lankan dishes, always giant portions). With the exception of one night where there was a power cut in the local area, we always chose to have dinner at the guesthouse because why would you not when the food is this good!
