Stayed for 2 nights and met with family for evening meal. Food was very good. Staff were excellent. However, we barely slept as bed was so firm. Maybe 3 hours sleep each night and then too tired during dsy

Stayed for one night as we came to Chester to check out the Christmas market and fancied a night away. Lots of parking, room was very nice - small but more than adequate for one night. Bed was super comfy and in a separate block away from pub so no noise. Tea and coffee in room which is a nice touch. Breakfast was lovely and was included in price. Ate at the pub on the evening and food was tasty. Pub itself was nice but starting to look a bit tired and ready for decorating in my opinion. Still had a nice time though and would stay there again if we ever go back to Chester. Walked into centre from hotel along the canal - approx 45 minutes walk.

Stayed at the Cheshire Cat whilst doing a charity walk Our room was spot on Staff couldn’t have made us more welcome went above and beyond service levels you’d expect We all had a meal in the evening again everything was superb

Stayed for two very pleasant nights last week. In a great location next to the canal. Short walk to the park ‘n’ ride too. Intended eating in on our first night but ended up dining twice. Food and service excellent but it was busy so booking a table recommended. The room was good also - and quiet considering it was over the top of a pub. Main gripe was the quality of the toilet paper. Some Trip Advisor readers are of a delicate disposition so I won’t go into too much detail - suffice to say that I kept myself better manicured after my trauma! Apart from that, all was good. The Cheshire Cat definitely put a smile on my face! Sorry.

We were looking for a hotel that gave us decent access to Delamere forest and this came up . i booked months in advance, i think had i waited i may have got a better price. but were were satisfied . the location its its selling point , right on the canal, making it a tranquil nights sleep as literally no noise. Room was compact but all in all clean and comfortable . the food is good and not over priced.

Excellent stay room 6 was small but certainly did the job especially as i requested a ground floor room and was told they didnt have any. Bed was very comfy, shower was excellent and very big. Food at the Cheshire Cat was good staff were very chatty and informative of where to park in Chester. Big Breakfast set you up for the day and was nice, better quality of fruit juice could be better very tasteless best was the cranberry juice. Big selection for breakfast pick what you want. Nice to come back at night have a relaxing meal a nice drink outside then to a nice comfy bed. Chester Zoo is a must brilliant day out.

Nice stay good value accommodation. Nice food but not a wide menu. Large room in annexe stayed in room 9 but gets very hot and can't open the window wider as on top floor. Have supplied a desk fan. Comfy bed. Close to Chester. Free parking large car park A very busy INN and good to see lots of people visit including locals. Not so good on Wifi. Apparently this is a problem I only had 4G but my family was ok with 5G

Popped in for a quick pint on a Tuesday afternoon. What a lovely surprise to find this charming place situated on the canal. Great pint and staff very obliging and friendly. Settees and easy chairs in every nook and cranny. Not to mention a great pint og Guinness

Spectacular! From arrival to departure, nothing was too much for the team to ensure we felt welcome. The food was delicious, the team friendly, the beds comfortable and fantastic shower pressure. Special shoutout to our waitress Steph who was just outstanding. We will definitely be back!
