Guest：Stayed here for 11 comfortable quiet nights. The apartment was very clean & serviced on a regular basis. The rooftop sun terrace was lovely as was the pool area. Lots of good restaurants & bars within easy walking distance. A lot to recommend.
Guest：The tarahal is the most peaceful and comfortable place you could stay in . We spent two wks there ,its surrounded by beautiful .scenery and the buses are very cheap and plentiful. The apartment was very clean and comfy ,the cleaners were great. david on receptionwas very helpful and everyone was so friendly. We hope to go back very soon
Guest：An angry male receptionist sabotaged my attempt to return to Taraha. I stayed for 2 weeks in 2023. I loved the apartment, the sunny balcony and the friendly cleaning staff. When I checked, I was verbally attacked by the male receptionist for checking out one hour late. He was particularly angry at me for ignoring the German language brochures and notes slipped under my door informing of the the check out time. I told him that he had used my Norwegian passport when he checked me in so my delayed was due to his assumption that I knew German. That only fueled his anger. Six months later I booked 2 weeks at Tarahal with a Norwegian travel company but weeks later after the booking, someone at Tarahal cancelled my reservation and the travel company had to work overtime to find me another place in San Augustin. It was of a much lower standard than Tarahal - noisier, dirtier and worn down but I had to still had to pay the same price. The travel company found it impossible to discover why my reservation had been unexpectedly cancelled after so many weeks, but I have a good idea of who sabotaged my return to Tarahal. So sad that such a petty minded and vindictive person has a position of power at what is otherwise a great place to have a vacation.
Guest：Lovely appartments. Staff very helpful. Situated on a very good bus route. Eateries 5 mins walk away. The only draw back is that the beach is not very nice but we're able to travel very cheaply o the bus to other nice beaches. Will definitely be booking again.
