Third visit, different rooms, same issue- bed very uncomfortable. Mattress is cheap with springs felt

The bedroom was spotless. Everywhere was clean and the staff very helpful. But top marks go to the breakfast. Being a vegetarian i didnt expect much choice. However not only a cooked vegetarian breakfast but also a cooked vegan . Along with a buffet style, Ive not seen this before.

Over the last few years all my family have enjoyed visiting the Hatfield Hotel as the downstairs restaurant is lovely and the staff are always very welcoming.
This is the first time I stayed for a few days and not only is it great value, the sea view and the sound of the waves coming in are exceptionally calming … it’s right on the beach so we saw the first light dawn in the most easterly place in the UK. It’s a treat.

I’d booked a deluxe room overlooking the sea view was great but room was very below standard the bed was like sleeping on a rock and the pillows were awful the bathroom was not the standard of a deluxe the shower was so hard to turn on/off tv too close to wardrobe and no plugs near the bed! Altogether very disappointing far too much money for what we had!

Good value and convenient location.
Decent breakfast and comfortable beds.
Just a few minutes walk from train station.Had no issues whilst and and would stay again.

Hotel generally down at heel. Staff super stressed and too few. Check in experience not great; agreeing one hour extra to check out seemed to stress out receptionist (who was also serving at the bar). Lift out of service during big wedding reception; food pretty bad. Altogether needs some focused attention/

I liked the friendliness of the staff, the room was a nice size, but the bed was a bit old.
I would have liked a few more food options on the menu
The shower over the bath was unusable for me as the side was to tall and there was no handrail
Even though there was a lift we still had to cope with to many stairs for myself and my husband
The hot water was far to hot, care homes, schools and other public places sould be around 44%C

The room was very tired but i know it is one of the rooms still to be renovated. However the main problem was that the mattress sloped downwards and i moved in my sleep and fell out of bed at 4 am! I hurt myself on the bedside cabinet as i fell and grazed my arm and badly bruised my shoulder. The mattress is unfit for use and needs replacing.

Hyggelig restaurant og lounge og fantastisk beliggenhed. V?relset var s? smalt at jeg ikke ville kunne ligge p? tv?rs af det. Udsugningen fra k?kkenet som var monteret lige udenfor vinduet gav en m?rkelig lugt i v?relset og madrassen d?de vist for mange ?r siden.
